We were delighted to be selected by the Aberdeen Students as a silver charity for their fundraising efforts this year.
Karen & Brenna had the privilege of attending the Aberdeen Student Charities Disbursement Awards at the Town House with the students who organised and took part in Cove Actually, the Student Show held in HMT back in April, along with representatives from the companies who sponsored the event and lots of the charities who benefitted from the money raised.
The amount of work the students put into running the show each year is amazing, especially considering they spend 4 weeks in rehearsals throughout March & April which is right before the main exam time for most of them. They are all so enthusiastic about it and genuinely interested in the work of the charities who benefit from the proceeds. This year they raised an amazing £168,590.84 which was split between 50 local charities.
